Dearest kin n folk, may this news lift and lighten your spirits. last month i dropped an afro-surrealist-punk song poem and video entitled, “hollyweird,” and im extremely grateful to all those who’ve listened and shared encouraging feedback. its allowed space for critical discussions in our community. today, i offer some good news. i am excited to share with you all the first official single entitled, “elsewhere,”off of my upcoming sophomore album set to be released on May 22, 2026 entitled, the color of rain.

elsewhere is a poet-funk nod to the late great Sly Stone featuring Georgia Anne Muldrow, Meshell Ndegeocello, and Novena Carmel. We made this song just three days after his crossing over with an incredible ensemble of musicians. everything came together in divine being. the entire album is produced by Meshell Ndegeocello, Justin Brown, and myself.
