Ken Mayers, a longtime member of Veterans For Peace who is currently serving on the national board, recently participated in the Sunday service at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Santa Fe, where he spoke about his journey to understanding the situation in Israel/Palestine. The service, with the theme of “In this season of Peace?” was designed by Reverend Gail Marriner based around the story of the “wise teacher.” The video below begins with the reading preceding Mayer’s talk, from a recent essay by the philosopher Charles Eisenstein.
