Ramstein Air Base, the U.S. Air Force base in southwestern Germany, is headquarters for the USAF in Europe and Africa and for the NATO Allied Air Command. It also serves as the virtual heart of the US/NATO drone lethal warfare program and is one of the largest U.S. bases outside the United States.
