There’s a brilliant radio show every Sunday at 11:00 am ET in New York City on WBAI called Radio Free Eireann with Malachy McCourt and John McDonagh, both of whom are veterans. The February 12, 2023, show featured Edward Horgan from Ireland speaking about his and Dan Dowling’s recent trial in Dublin to face charges for criminal damage and trespass at Shannon Airport in 2016. You’ll hear some Irish music and Ed Horgan’s brilliant summery of his and Dan Dowling’s trial and why there is ongoing resistance to U.S. military use of a neutral country’s (Ireland) civilian airport being used to ferry troops, weapons and renditioned prisoners to and from the Middle East, a clear violation of international laws on neutrality.
