William Short is a Viet Nam combat veteran, an educator and photographer based in Los Angeles. He was associate director of the Indochina Arts Project at the University of Massachusetts, Boston. He was artist-in-residence at the Addison Gallery of American Art at the Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts. He has been a National Public Radio commentator, addressing issues of war and fatherhood. He was an associate producer on the film Sir, No Sir which is about GI resistance to the Viet Nam War.
Willa Seidenberg is a former radio and TV journalist with 20 years of field experience. She is professor emeritus of professional practice at the Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism at the University of Southern California, where she taught audio journalism. She is co-creator and producer of Save As, an award-winning podcast on heritage conservation.
