On June 16, over 75 people attended an in-person meeting of Veterans For Peace/Chapter 034 (NYC) at the People’s Forum in Midtown Manhattan.

The meeting featured the screening of Pam Sporn’s 1990 documentary Disobeying Orders: GI Resistance to the Vietnam War, as well as a panel of VFP members who discussed plans for protesting the current criminal wars initiated by the U.S. and Israel and the attempt by the Trump administration to turn the July 4th Independence Day holiday into a false and phony presentation of U.S. history.
