Peace group conference looks at Ireland’s place in a troubled world.
In Dublin on March 7, 2026, Lex Innocentium held one of the most articulate, compelling and powerful conferences on Irish neutrality. The speakers reflected on Ireland’s relationship to the illegal U.S./Israeli wars, the U.S. economic manipulation in Ireland, the EU, NATO, and the importance of maintaining the Triple Lock and Neutrality. Professors Patrick Bresnihan and Rory Rowan were absolutely brilliant on the issue of Militarizing Foreign (mostly U.S.) Direct Investment and how that works ultimately to the detriment on different levels to the Irish people and beyond. After they spoke it was one compelling speaker after another. And Jeffrey Sachs, who had just been in Ireland, zoomed in for his own presentation, which was very enthusiastically received. There is truly something deeply moving listening and watching the Irish with their centuries deep indigenous awareness as they bring a still revolutionary spirit to reflect on today’s oppressors and toadies, including those in their own government.
